Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is currently experiencing international outages, internet monitor NetBlocks said on Thursday.
It added that the incident was “not related to country-level internet disruptions or filtering”.
Downdetector, which monitors internet outages in real time, showed a sharp spike in problems reported by Pakistani users soon after 12pm.
Half of those issues pertained to the X timeline, with most of the rest complaining about the app.

Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources. The actual number of affected users may differ from what is shown on Downdetector, as the reports are submitted by users.
More than 23,000 complaints were reported across the United States as well, indicating an international-level outage.
The Elon-Musk owned platform also faced a brief outage for thousands of global users on March 18.
One similar incident occurred in February, while January witnessed two X outages within a week.
